One of the first things I did when I joined Taiko was create a poster for our short film. It somehow feels more real when you have a poster =). Here are some early exploration ideas of what it could be, and what we ended up going with. Going for something simple and iconic. At some point we must’ve have had her going to Mars? Totally forgot about that!
New Star Trek Series Featuring Michelle Yeoh’s Captain Philippa Georgiou in Development
CBS All Access is going ahead with a Star Trek: Discovery spinoff featuring Michelle Yeoh’s Captain Philippa Georgiou. The new series will further explore Yeoh’s role as a member of Starfleet’s Section 31, a “shadow organization within the Federation.”
The as-of-yet-unnamed series is produced by CBS Television Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Erika Lippoldt (Star Trek: Discovery, Reign) is writing the series. Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth are serving as executive producers with Aaron Baiers and Bo Yeon Kim as co-executive producers.
